Hailey Dirksen, LMFT

Licensed Marriage and family therapist

It is such a joy of mine to walk alongside others and partner with them as they take a deep dive into pursuing healing and wholeness.

I hate how shame can often be a reason we stay isolated in silence. This is why I strive to create a warm, welcoming, non-judgmental, and safe environment. It is my goal to help provide insight, hope, and healing for whatever challenges and burdens my clients are carrying. It truly is an honor to be allowed to enter my clients' world, and because of this, I will always engage with them in the most empathetic way.

I understand that life can be challenging and can bring hardship and difficulty in a variety of forms; no life or individual quite looks the same. Because of this, I tend to have a fluid and flexible approach to therapy. I believe that each individual contains unique physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual components. Therefore, I have found that having flexibility in the modality I choose is often the most beneficial in therapy. I typically like to utilize Attachment-Based, Christian Counseling, Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Compassion-Focused, EMDR, Humanistic, and Psychodynamic therapy.

A specialty of mine is working with Christians who desire to have therapy rooted in Biblical truths. However, if a client does not identify as a Christian, that is not a problem. I enjoy working with anyone and have worked with many clients from a variety of backgrounds and faith traditions. I have the most experience working with individuals who have struggled with anxiety, codependency, depression, family conflict, grief, life transitions, relationship issues, self-esteem, women's issues, and spirituality.

A word of encouragement for anyone reading: Take heart! This trial will pass. Whatever you are facing, you are not alone; there is hope and joy to be found! I would be honored to join you in whatever challenge you are facing.
